Golf (and more) for a Good Cause
The Aspen Hope Center, in partnership with Pitkin County Sheriff Joe Disalvo, proudly present the 2017 Sheriff’s Cup for Hope 5K Run/Walk and Golf Tournament on Sunday, June 25. We at Aspen Signature Properties are very excited to be involved with this year’s event and hope to see you on the links!
The festivities will start at 9am with a 5K run hosted by Olympic Snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler through the beautiful Aspen Golf Course grounds. You can meet, greet, and take pictures with Bleiler, and even win an autographed snowboard package from her.
After the 5K, join in on the FREE community picnic at 11am. The picnic features delicious BBQ, raffle tickets, and fun prizes, where you can mix and mingle with local Aspen area community members and celebrities alike. Once the 4-player scramble style golf tournament tees off, be sure to join us on at our sponsored 7th hole for a chance win prizes.
The Aspen Hope Center
Last year’s event raised over $60,000 for the Aspen Hope Center. The AHC’s mission is to “extend a beacon of hope to those in emotional crisis” as well as to “decrease the stigma of mental illness through expert clinical care, public education, community collaboration, and outreach.” This event is an important source of revenue to allow this important community nonprofit to continue to thrive. It brings together local celebrities, professional athletes, and passionate Aspen community members to raise awareness for mental health and all of the services offered by the Aspen Hope Center.
